General information

The Chamber of Commerce of Lima, obtained the grant of International Cooperation with date 05 November 2021 on the part of the European Union (EU) and the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for development (AECID), for the implementation of the project: “Gender-based Violence against Women: Strengthen the prevention from the Private Sector.” The CCL will participate through the intervention called “Business x Equal: Businesses that are committed to the prevention of violence against women and gender equality”, which aims to support the national strategy of prevention through the incorporation of different models of equitable management, specialized studies such as those on the impacts of the non-prevention of Vaw, and the impacts of sexual harassment in employment. The results of these investigations and the management models implemented will be disseminated widely as a mechanism to raise awareness in the face of violence and discrimination against women.

Research

In the framework of the activities referred to in the Project will be carried out specialized studies on gender-based violence against women in the private company. In 2022, the first year of implementation of this component, research was carried out in Metropolitan Lima and Callao; by 2023, as the second year of implementation of this component is to extend the research to the regional level.
